Client Development Associate

Location: London, UK



DealCloud is looking to hire a professional Client Development Associate (CDA) who can convert prospects into sales opportunities, manage initial stages of the sales process both on the phone and in initial technology demonstrations, be proactive to further build pipeline for the DealCloud sales team, and use CRM and marketing automation systems to report on lead velocity and pipeline creation.

The target market for DealCloud is the dynamic and growing Private Capital Market (Private Equity, Direct Lending, Real Estate, Venture/Growth, FOF and Institutional Investors, Investment Banks and Corporate Development arms of the Fortune 1000).

What you’ll do:
  • Work closely with the sales/marketing teams to leverage the marketing automation and CRM platforms
  • Prospective and engage potential clients who express interest and desire in our offerings
  • Qualify marketing leads through initial discovery conversations with the aim to convert into opportunities.
  • Work closely with Client Development Directors (CDD) to identify prospects with the greatest revenue potential
  • Develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns to generate engagement with “high potential” prospects
  • Drive attendance and conduct follow up for all events DealCloud attends or sponsors (e.g. trade show) or produces (e.g. webinar, thought leadership event, comingling customer/prospect events).
  • Schedule meetings with prospects to align with CDD’s travel schedules
  • Nurture ongoing relationships to position DealCloud as vendor of choice
  • Regularly report on quantity, velocity and conversion of marketing leads and sales opportunities

What you’ll need:

  • Ability to develop a professional rapport and collaborate effectively with sales and marketing teams.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communications, including the ability to effectively present information to top management and executives (internally and externally) as required.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and make decisions with minimal supervision.



Bonus if you:

  • Minimum of two year’s work experience in a sales or marketing capacity, ideally at a software company or in a private equity market
  • Experience selling in the alternative asset /private equity industry.
