Solutions Architect

Location: Jersey City, NJ



DealCloud is seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to master the technology powering the financial industry’s leading Private Equity and Investment Banking firms, as well as the professional service industry’s leading Law, Consulting, and Accounting firms. This is a high visibility role that comes at a critical inflection point in our company’s trajectory. Ever since DealCloud joined Intapp (our parent company) in 2018, we have been hard at work developing a revolutionary new platform to help firm leaders in each company’s core market leverage technology to drive strategic growth for their business.


You will be the first official member to join a new “SWAT” team which is on the bleeding edge of both companies’ technologies and markets. Alongside our team’s founding member, you will be tasked to help develop, pitch, and sell a new product category into an incredibly large and complex professional services market. By joining at the ground floor of this team, you will help grow it to support a global sales presence and have ample opportunity to move into a leadership position. You will work cross-functionally with key Sales, Product, and Services leaders across both organizations to bring this product to market.

What you’ll do:
  • Accelerate new business acquisition by being the SME (read: keynote speaker) in the sales pitch.
  • Leverage knowledge of our joint platform (both DealCloud and Intapp) to position a solution for Managing Directors / Partners / Leaders of Law, Consulting, and Accounting firms.
  • Drive meeting preparation by conducting discovery sessions with key prospect stakeholders.
  • Configure solutions that you will eventually demo in key meetings.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align on our go to market strategy.

What you’ll need:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ technology product post-sales implementation and/or pre-sales solutions experience. Enterprise SaaS experience preferable.
  • Strong analytical skillset to understand the basics of system architecture, as our platform is built on a relational database that can be configured on the front-end.
  • Skilled listener and communicator who can transition seamlessly between technical solution-oriented conversations with product team, to strategy and business outcome-oriented pitches with sales teams.
  • Proven track record of driving sales outcomes by crafting technology solutions and stories that win the hearts and minds of key prospect stakeholders. High levels of initiative, creativity and flexibility required.
